On the 1st of September 2011 LTD “FRUNZE -ELECTRODE”, one of the subsidiary companies of PJSC “Sumy Frunze Machine-Building Science and Production Association”, celebrated its third anniversary as an independent company.
During this three years period LTD “FRUNZE-ELECTRODE” has become one of the leading Ukrainian producers of special purpose electrodes for welding structures. Our production capacity is 100tons of electrodes every month. It is three times higher than in 2008. Today our company is among ten largest producers of electrodes in Ukraine, and comparing the range of products and its quality we have no peers. At present, we produce nearly 65 grades of electrodes for welding of carbon steels, alloy heat-resistant steels, high and low-alloy steels, welding electrodes for cast iron, electrodes for overlaying and manual arc cutting. LTD “FRUNZE-ELECTRODE” meets all the needs in electrodes of the mother company PJSC “Sumy Frunze Machine-Building Science and Production Association” and also supplies electrodes to the outside market. The production volume of electrodes sold at the outside market raise from 22% in 2008 to 85% in 2011
As for the technological base, the plant has sufficient quantity of modern equipment that enables to produce products in a closed cycle. Technological process involves production of various types of wire and its cutting, charge preparation, electrodes pressing, drying and heat treatment, performing of the certification tests and vacuum packaging. By the way, vacuum packaging of electrodes was first introduced in Ukraine by LTD “FRUNZE-ELECTRODE”. It allows maintaining product quality during storage and transportation in adverse weather conditions.
Among the achievements of our three-year independent activity is the implementation of "dry" drawing of low carbon wire rod, which allowed reducing its cost up to 25%. First rutile electrodes in Ukraine were developed by our company in collaboration with the central welding laboratory of PJSC “Sumy Frunze Machine-Building Science and Production Association”. In summer of 2011, our company LTD “FRUNZE-ELECTRODE” has successfully passed audit of the quality management system certification UkrSEPRO. Besides that, we received the certificate of conformity for serial production of many welding wire grades.   
During three years the volume of sales in money equivalent has increased in 2.5 times. Among our regular customers there are, PJSC  “UkrGasVydobuvannya”, NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine", PJSC "Turboatom", "NKMZ", PJSC "Energomashspezstal" and others; in total - more than 500 customers.
Accounting Department of LTD “FRUNZE-ELECTRODE” also follows the main trends in the development of the enterprise. Our specialists have implemented a program, "Accounting" which allows accurately determine the actual cost of each party of electrodes and the profitability of their production. It eases work of the commercial department and greatly benefits for participation in tenders. Purchasing managers also work a lot in raw materials market research. Nowadays wholesale supplies at the most competitive prices from Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia and India have become a common thing for the company. Significant role in the approval of the new company at the market, in addition to other promotional activities, plays participation in the annual international exhibition PATON EXPO “Welding. Related Technologies".
